Benny La Mar is a singer-songwriter from Pacifica, California currently residing in Nashville, Tennessee. Benny’s music takes on elements of Folk and Indie-Rock to create a version of Americana that’s all his own. Benny got his start in music early, at 10 years old his mom enrolled him in piano lessons, and he was hooked. At 13 years old he taught himself the guitar, and began taking singing and songwriting more seriously. He began taking any gig he could get, playing in everything from DIY punk bands to unplugged coffee shops. Benny played hundreds of shows, before deciding to make the move to Nashville, Tennessee. Once in Nashville, Benny hit the ground running. He quickly gained residencies at bars along the famous Lower Broadway Strip, frequently playing at bars like The Stage on Broadway, Category 10, and The Second Fiddle. In January 2024 Benny released his debut EP, ‘West To South’, a collection of songs that Benny wrote back in California and when he first arrived in Nashville.
